Content Marketing Manager
Part of News360’s marketing strategy is helping our partners and industry peers to tell stories about Content Marketing through our blog, Content Marketing All-Stars. We are looking for someone to be the editor-in-chief of this blog, manage its growth, organize and conduct Q&As with top marketers at Fortune-100 brands and create compelling content about the Content Marketing industry. In addition, you will help manage News360’s marketing channels, our presence at industry events, and a ton of other exciting things.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Content Marketing All-Stars blog - create content, send out newsletters, manage SEO, social media channels and analytics;
  • Help organize and conduct Q&As (live, over phone & over email) with industry experts;
  • Help organize News360’s participation in industry events;
  • Work together with the BD/Sales team to support the growing set of News360’s partners and clients.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or higher in Journalism, Communications or similar;

The News360 New York office, in the heart of the SoHo district, is focused on driving Promoted Content sales.
Sales Executive
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Digital Advertising Account Associate to evangelize our native advertising offering to media buying agencies. You have learned the art of creating and maintaining relationships with key agency contacts, and is seen by those agency contacts as a trusted partner. You may have built up these relationships as an account manager or working on a marketing team, but you’ve seen the sales side of advertising and you want to be part of it. This is a role designed for an eager professional with agency contacts who wants to jump to the sales side.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and generate revenue for News360’s promoted content and native advertising offerings;
  • Provide guidance and knowledge to targeted agencies on the dynamics, trends, opportunities, and results of content promotion in a native format;
  • Grow and maintain agency relationships at all levels.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an account management or marketing role; mobile experience is a plus and experience with native advertising campaigns is a bigger plus;
  • Thorough understanding of agencies and the digital advertising/marketing ecosystem;
  • Passionate about digital media and new technologies;
  • Ability to collaborate with others while maintaining substantial relationships with colleagues and clients alike;

Publisher Relations Manager
As News360’s Promoted Content platform grows and we prepare to rollout groundbreaking new products in the space, we are looking for someone to start building relationships with our publisher partners.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and reach out to potential partners in the news publishing space;
  • Drive adoption of News360 products through events, calls, in-person demos and any other means necessary;
  • Support implementation of News360 products with publishers - educate, evangelize and guide them through the implementation process;
  • Work closely with the Sales team and with the Product team to improve our offerings and route partner feedback into product development;
  • Manage and nurture relationships and do everything to make sure our partners are happy.

News360 Systems Inc, our Canadian subsidiary, manages development of News360 applications as well as the semantic analysis and linguistics platform and personalization engine that drives our consumer experiences.
Web developer (C#, .NET, MS SQL, WCF)
We are looking for an experienced C# developer, who will create and support business-critical services on C#/.NET for Windows Server 2012 platform. Candidates should have hans-on experience analyzing large amounts of data and writing efficient, highload-compatible code. Knowledge of and ability to work with text mining or machine learning algorithms and any kind of natural language processing is also a must.

We are looking for skilled professionals who can easily communicate with other members of the team, have hands-on experience the most recent development practices, curious to learn new skills and try out new technologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Writing production ready C# code, which is easy to deploy and support, covered by tests and documentation, easy to integrate with other services;
  • Writing effective data manage/store algorithms;
  • Analyzing and optimizing whole system performance, being proactive in analyzing infrastructure;
  • Working with other developers to launch and deploy new services, being product-oriented and understanding that the ultimate goal is not just to write code, but to produce a great product;
  • In case of service failure or loss of functionality helping the Operations team in restoring services, locating the problem and preventing such failures in the future.

Qualifications & Job Skills
  • 5+years of experience in C#/.NET (C++ experience is also considered);
  • Understanding the principles of CLR execution, CLR memory allocation and management;
  • Debugging and profiling services, finding bottlenecks, optimization of memory consumption as well as CPU and other resources;
  • Experience in writing multithreaded applications, good knowledge of concurrency/consistency mechanisms. Usage of IPC and shared resources;
  • Knowledge of WCF and TCP/IP stack protocols;
  • Experience with Transact-SQL, both with queries and stored procedures and triggers. SQL query optimization on large databases;
  • Experience building multi-tier systems, asynchronous service communications, stable and fast scalable distributed systems, persistent memory storage and other such basic architecture components;
  • Understanding TDD/DDD approaches. Covering code with unit tests as naturally as breathing. Making complex functional tests of whole services;
  • Working and communicating with other teammates in a kind, friendly and respectful manner.

Additional Skills and Abilities
  • Strong CS/mathematical background: optimization theory, probabilistic methods, theory of information;
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, ability to work with them with real data, especially with text objects;
  • Knowledge of NLP/text mining algorithms;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong partnership and relationship building skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong problem solving abilities;
  • Minimum BS Degree. MS is preferred. PhD is best. Other courses and certificates are also taken into account.

UX Designer
We are looking for a talented and qualified designer to join our Mobile Applications team.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualizing and creating intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent mobile experiences;
  • Create user interfaces and user experiences for all News360 mobile products;
  • Participating in the development process from conceptualization, through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance;
  • Providing input into product planning tasks and deliverables;
  • Researching and tracking advancements in mobile application design patterns;
  • Following and understanding trends in the mobile and web industries.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or higher degree in visual design, human factor and interaction design (or equivalent experience);
  • 4+ years experience designing mobile applications;
  • Must have a portfolio with examples of mobile application design;
  • Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines and Android Design guidelines;
  • Must have a deep appreciation for clean, simple, usable interfaces;
  • Solid skills in visual design, with an eye for typography, intuitive layout, and a pixel-level attention to detail.

Bonus Points
  • You're a news junkie;
  • Experience designing for other mediums such a web, print, and iconography.
